Things That Make Me Old

HEY! Whatever happened to the ¢ sign? I remember in elementary school when we did math it would be 99¢ + 1¢ = $1.00. Now when we write things out it is $0.99 or $.99. Who got to make the new rule that cut out my beloved cent sign? I just don't think it's fair... it took me way less time to make the cent sign (after I googled it of course, because it isn't on the keyboard) then it did to type $.99. Now with the explosion of 99¢ value menus the cent sign could make its comeback! Eh? Eh? It really is more aesthetically pleasing, don't you think?

Anyway, I am starting a new movement to bring the ¢ sign back, so you guys better start using it... I'm not even kidding.
